| The 6 speed in the Z33 kinda sucks. Forget about it being substantially weaker (which it is). You spend more time shifting or skipping gears than actually driving. The extra shift to get up to speed gets really annoying after the first few days you drive it. And you still cruise around 3k rpm, just like in the Z32. A second, much lower ratio overdrive gear would have been a vast improvement, but the gearing in the Z33 transmission just kinda sucks. It is also difficult to tell which gear you're in (4th feels a lot like 6th, and 3rd feels a lot like 5th). The rev's seem much higher in 6th and 5th than they should be, and I often find myself trying to shift into 7th, if there were one. I never had that problem in the Z32, it is alway very obvious which gear you're in by your speed and the sound of the motor.
